Another season at Glen Iris Inn kicked off on May 1, and with a calendar full of exciting events amid the natural beauty and wonder of Letchworth State Park, 2025 is sure to be a memorable year for guests of the historic Inn.
Here are some highlights of what’s in store for this season!
Savor Spring at the Inn with Deals and Dining Credits
Don’t wait a moment longer to book your stay at Glen Iris Inn. Spring flowers are in bloom and patio season is in full swing.
“Guests of the Inn booking stays Monday through Thursday will receive special room rates and a $99 dining room credit to be used towards anything from dinner to breakfast or drinks on the patio,” said Denise Coffey, General Manager, Glen Iris Inn.
There is no minimum stay to be eligible for the package. In fact, there are no minimum stay requirements for any of the accommodations at Glen Iris Inn, including the Inn itself, Pinewood Lodge and Lofts, Caroline’s Cottage, Stone House or Chalet House.
Wine Pairing Events
Glen Iris will host four small groups, up to 20 guests, for upscale themed events featuring wines and experts from Kendall-Jackson Winery. Kendall Jackson Family of Wines with Donna Schlosser-Long.
“The first event on May 19th is a Kentucky Derby theme and features 6-7 small plates each paired with a different Kendall-Jackson wine,” detailed Denise. “The July event will showcase Bright Whites, and details for the August and September events will be available soon.”
The May event, which takes place on a Monday, can be paired with the Spring Package for discounted accommodations and the dining credits can be used toward the dinner event.
For nearly 20 years, Glen Iris has partnered with Inspire Moore Winery, Naples, NY, to bring wine pairing events to guests. There are two events planned for this season, available for up to 60 diners per event, and each includes a wine and cheese reception followed by a traditional 5-course dining experience with personalized wine selections and presentations from the local vintner.
Summer Brews & BBQ Event
Glen Iris turns up the heat this July with a Brews & BBQ event complete with cider from Castile Cider Mill and the latest beers from Silver Lake Brewery paired with chef-inspired, southern barbeque dishes hot off the grill. The event, which will be hosted under a tent on the event lawn adjacent to the Inn, will also include live music.
Brunch & Buy Local Headlines August Calendar
This August, Glen Iris invites guests to explore the grounds surrounding the Inn and shop from local boutiques, makers, and market vendors in this pop-up event. A special brunch featuring local foods will be served in the main dining room by reservation.
Patio Season Awaits
After its grand opening two years ago, the delightfully designed Caroline’s Courtyard is nestled alongside the Inn and offers the perfect place to capture the sights and sounds of Letchworth and enjoy a cool drink and satisfying meal. Follow Glen Iris Inn on Facebook for regular updates from the patio as the gardens bloom and gradually surround guests in a natural oasis. Evenings at the Inn are best enjoyed under the patio lights resting peacefully in a fireside Adirondack chair while taking in a sky full of stars and the soothing sounds of Middle falls.
It’s Wedding Season
With breathtaking waterfall views, on-site accommodations, fabulous cuisine, and exemplary service, Glen Iris Inn has been a popular wedding destination for decades. This season saw the return of micro weddings, a pre-packaged affair for small groups up to 50 guests. Denise first designed the micro wedding concept in response to the pandemic, but growing interest in smaller, hassle-free events brought the package back for the 2025 season. With more than 20 micro events on the calendar this year, Denise says it’s a trend she doesn’t see slowing down.
“All the couple has to do is pick a date, get a license and rings, plan their outfits, invite guests, and show up. We take care of the rest,” said Denise. “We coordinate the photographer and music, order cake and flowers, the menus are preset, and I am ordained to officiate the ceremony. There really are very few decisions to be made, and that’s appealing to a lot of couples.”
Heading into the 2026 wedding season, Glen Iris will offer three wedding packages to meet the needs and wishes of all couples: petit, moyen and grand. The petit and moyen events are booked Monday through Friday, leaving weekends open for grand events.
