Baseball season is in full swing, which means downtown Buffalo is buzzing as the team brings one of their most exciting weeks of the year to Sahlen Field. From May 12-17, the Herd is home for six straight games packed with promotions, giveaways and events that the whole family will love. Whether you are a die-hard Bisons fan or just looking for a fun way to spend an evening in downtown Buffalo, this is the week to make it happen. And with the Pub at the Park open before every game, you can make a full day or night of it before the first pitch is even thrown.

The Pregame Starts at the Pub

Pub at the Park sits on Sahlen Field’s mezzanine level and is accessible through the Washington Street entrance or from inside the ballpark at Section 112. The Pub is open every game day 90 minutes before first pitch and features an ever-changing lineup at its all-you-can-eat buffet.

Fans looking to save can grab the Buffet Ticket Pack for $33.95, which bundles a game ticket with the buffet for over 30% in savings. If you already have your tickets, the buffet-only option runs $25.95 for adults and $19.95 for kids 12 and under. Reservations are strongly recommended at least 48 hours in advance.

Kicking off this exciting week at Sahlen Field, the Pub is hosting a special Mother’s Day All-You-Can-Eat Brunch Buffet from 11 am to 2 pm on Sunday, May 10. With an expanded menu, including a carving station and dessert station, it is a great way to treat mom. Tickets will go fast, so be sure to get yours before they’re gone!

A Week of Bisons Baseball

With no game on Monday, the Bisons hit the field Tuesday through Sunday for six straight home games against the Worcester Red Sox.

Tuesday, May 12

The Bisons kick off the week honoring nurses with a special Nurse Appreciation Night, a well-deserved nod to our local healthcare workers. Pub at the Park is also serving up its popular Taco Tuesday buffet, featuring a build-your-own taco bar with various proteins and toppings, plus both hard and soft shells, all included in the regular all-you-can-eat buffet. Throughout the game, fans can take advantage of TWOsday with $2 Sahlen’s Hot Dogs available at the ballpark all night long.

Wednesday, May 13

Wednesday is one of the best nights to catch a Bisons game. The Pub at the Park is offering its Wing Wednesday special, adding all-you-can-eat wings to the regular buffet featuring an award-winning sauce from a past National Buffalo Wing Festival winner.

If you are bringing the whole family, Dog Days at the Park means your four-legged family members get in free with your ticket purchase and can watch the game from a special area in the right field corner. Treat Tickets are available for each Dog Days game, with a treat included for both pet and owner. Win-It Wednesday also means fans get the chance to win great prizes, including a Bisons jersey, throwing the ceremonial first pitch, game-used items, concessions and tickets to future games.

Thursday, May 14

Thursday is the perfect night to come out for a game, especially if you plan on bringing a group of family and friends with you. Family Value Night means that every ticket to the game costs only $10. Plus, kids can enjoy $3 choice concessions, including chicken nuggets, nachos and ice cream.

Friday, May 15 – Sunday, May 17

The week wraps up in a big way with a three-day celebration of the United States’ 250th birthday, presented by KeyBank.

Friday
Kick off the weekend with a Resurgence Brewing Happy Hour from 5 to 6:30 pm featuring $4 craft beers and food specials, plus a postgame fireworks show to close out the night.

Saturday
The festivities continue during the afternoon game.

Sunday
The celebration coincides with Family Funday presented by BrightPath Kids, which means a pregame Mascot Meet and Greet, special activities for the kids and postgame Kids Run the Bases to wrap up the week.
