The Powerhouse at Color Park has become a symbol of Buffalo’s storied past with modern refurbishments. The 22,000 square-foot event space, renovated from the remains of an abandoned dye plant, now marvels guests with lofty ceilings, original masonry, exposed brick walls, and floor-to-ceiling windows with Georgian-esque arches. While the inside is spacious and beautiful, The Powerhouse also has four outdoor patio spaces that companies, nonprofits and couples can use to make events incredibly unique.

Buffalo’s former industrial front sits just outside the downtown area near the Outer Harbor waterfront. The Powerhouse’s rooftop patio offers unmatched city skyline views, making for the perfect party or wedding backdrop.

First Looks
First looks are intimate. It’s the time when couples see each other in their formal wedding attire for the first time, creating a lasting sentimental moment. Because first looks are so personal and often one of the most memorable parts of a wedding for couples, the venue matters. The Powerhouse’s rooftop patio can be used for couples to complete their first look photos. Stunning golden-hour sunsets and city skyline views make for quite the background, no matter what time of year.

The Powerhouse’s rooftop is also ideal for smaller gatherings. The space can comfortably fit 120 ceremony guests or 100 cocktail hour guests. Rather than staying inside, guests have the advantage of enjoying good weather with even better views.
